Shirt Story: There’s orange, and then there’s Albirex Niigata orange. There’s something about the particular shade that Albirex use on their kits which really stands out, and the 2013 home shirt is no different. This is a bright, bold shirt, tamed somewhat by a classic adidas construction from the early 10s.

Although less than a decade old, it’s particularly enjoyable to see the three stripes of adidas running far down the sleeves (with a break to accommodate the league patch), something sorely missing on modern adidas kits.
